Ello agin fellas well this ref has a mother board and a relay is clicken.I. disconected it from the wall I hoped it would reset? It did not.I then un pluged ref then discounected wire plugs from board.re pluged to wall.re unpluged.re pluged the board now the relay on the board stoped clicken.but still no evap fan.compressor does come on..I did not check voltage to evap motor..motor is not hot hot .as if burnt..and yes I should have checked for volts.... price on a new board is 165......any one got an opinion??....thanks

Since the board was clicking you will have to replace the board. A bad fan can cause the board to fail. This doesn’t happen often but it can and does happen. Most of the time when the fan causes the board to fail a resistor on the board will burn out. Look closely at the board near the J2 connector and see if there is a resistor burnt. If so you will need to replace the board and the fan.

However the clicking board is normally something different entirely. Often the low voltage side of the board being too weak when something such as the fan or dispenser tries to draw current on it. A bad relay can also cause this. One more thing looks at the back of the board just behind the high voltage relays (bottom of the board) and check for a loose or brunt solder joint. This is worth checking into but it usually will not cause the fan not to run.
