Whirlpool Dryer (No Motor Start, but power thru all switches and limits

Wife ran a moderate load yesterday, dried okay end of cycle buzzer called, emptied dryer. Filled dryer next load, set timer and heat pushed start nothing. I used my multimeter, checked main power, then checked internal fuses, limits all have continuity, start switch has the right cont. and works, door switch functions. I haven't torn the top off yet, but...I'm assuming that the start/run relay system for the motor is built into the motor or its connector. I show no amp draw at all on any of the motor legs when trying to start.
Is it the motor itself?

Did you do your checks for continuity on each component with the wires off and the power off?

Yes, I'm a retired Ref.-HVAC Tech, That's why this is so frustrating...the wife is standing behind me tapping her foot...LOL

I thought it was the heater/internal-bias t-stat...but it has 4.8 Ohms as required. checking just continuity i didn't get the right reading, but that's good.

My motor doesn't growl. It does nothing. I guess I gotta call a "Service Tech", I'm stumped, I've got the machine apart, drum out etc. maybe that will save me a tiny bit on labor cost.

The hardest part about swappin the motor is gettin the blower off. It is reverse threaded. Their ain't no wiring. You can swap that dude out yourself easily.

The motor is the least likely suspect.  If it's not the thermal fuse or the door switch then it's probably the timer.  Both the hot and neutral to the motor pass through the timer.

Does the Timer Motor run?
Try a Dryer Cycle with the "Guard Switch" in both positions.
If it still doesn't work, then:

While set for a Drying Cycle,
while pushing the Start Switch, measure the voltages at its (3) Terminals.
(2) of the (3) should have 120v AC to chassis (a good ground)

If OK, then, while someone pushes the Start Switch,
measure for 120v AC from each side of the white Thermal Fuse to chassis.

Did the checks, took the timer out, it rattled like it was full of BB's...replaced timer ($143.00) got a new belt and rollers, cleaned and oiled lightly what needed it, buttoned it back up. Pushed the start button and everything worked...until I let go of the start button. Everything stops. I will troubleshoot again when we get back from Family Christmas visit. I hate it when the plan doesn't come together. Merry Christmas etc to you and all.

Back from Arizona for the holidays, rechecked the start switch, one terminal looks like is was slightly burnt on the connector, realigned the female part in the connector, cleaned the black off found what looks like spider webs inside. Re-connected, terminal is now seated properly, works like it's supposed to. Thanks for all the help!
