Great video. I have done a bunch of them seal replacements. People used to brang em to my shop and I would show em how. You gotta keep turning the motor to make sure it ain't binding each time you place a part in there and if you over tighten the impeller the motor will lock up. You never want to test run that puppy either. The machine needs some water in it before you do a test or that seal will fade fast. Great video Shawn.

hi ryan my ge dishwasher has a what looks like one sided cotter pin whare youre blade is on youre pump .
do i need to replace the pin with a new one or is this how it was made back in 1985 when i got it

That nut grader is the original style you have with the wire, the one pictured in the video is the new style. You dont need to replace it unless you want to.

A new blade comes in the seal kit WD19X10032. But you don’t have to replace it unless you want to. The new blade will be the one like in the video. I have done it both ways. I have used the new blade and I have used the old one.
