LG Tromm Gas Dryer Question

Hi Guys,

I have a LG DLG3744W gas dryer that was not heating yesterday.  I did some research and I found a post on this site that told me to start by taking the top off and turning on the dryer.  I should see an orange glow in the bottom right corner followed by a blue glow...and I got this.  I'm assuming the orange was from the igniter and the blue is when the gas is lit and the igniter kicks off.  My question is ...Is the blue glow suppose to turn off after 1 min. or so and stay off for about 1 min. and then the orange glow from the igniter turns on again followed  by a blue glow only to have the blue glow shut down and the process keeps repeating?  I would guess the blue glow should stay on while the dryer is running unless it is suppose to cycle like this.  Anyway, I did have heat and that has me wondering if I just had a kink in my gas line.  If this is not normal, what do you think would be my next step?  Thanks in advance.
