you are elligable for a filter upgrade, its free even if you are past your first year warranty, but repair must be done by an authorized frigidaire warranty depot

tell the servicer to read service buliten dw1001, it describes how they can process this work under warranty after the one year warranty has expired

i finally did this upgrade to mine at home, the very next load the wife first hugged me,cause she didn't have to reload half the *clean* dishes to be rewashed, then she kicked my A$$, for not doing it 6 months ago

now all i have to do is the "teenager dish loading upgrade" and i'm all set(not covered under warranty)
