KUDH25SHBL1 Dishwasher is not getting water into it

I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher, found out it was made 1996, came with our house and has been working great up until yesterday when we were running it, noticed that it sounded like everything was working great, but no water was in the machine???

We have taken the pump apart, filters and there's nothing clugged in the dishwasher, so I'm hoping maybe someone could help me out here and have some other troubleshooting ideas on what could be causing this!!!

Open the door and look for the water level float at the bottom of the dishwasher.

Wiggle the float up and down to make sure it's not stuck in the up position. Sometimes small objects will also get stuck under the float holding it up.

If the float is stuck in the up position the dishwasher will not fill with water.

If the float seems ok then you may need to replace the water fill valve.

i agree with aj aslong as the float isnt stuck up or down  then  either your not getting power to the water valve  or the water valve is failed and needs replaced more than likely water valve needs replaced...
