Kenmore Elite Convection oven

I need to figure out if there are 2 heating elements in my convection oven.  It stopped heating up a little over a year ago and I haven't had the money to pay a repairman. I have replaced heating elements in ovens before, but not in a convection oven. Is this something a do it yourselfer can do?  Thanks for any suggestions!

Here is the diagram for your oven.
Looks like you have one bake, one broil and another element around the convection fan.

To get to the bake element you will need to remove the bottom of the oven. There are only two screws in the back that hold the bottom plate in place.

After you have the bottom removed you will be able to see the hidden bake element, part # 316413800.

Make sure you disconnect the power to the oven before you start working on it.

Is it common for both the broiler element and the baking element to go out at exactly the same time?
I found the element, but it doesn't just "unplug" like the other elements I have worked with.   I was reading in the repair manual, that I found on here, and it says that you have to take the back off the stove to get to the connections and to test them.  Would I be getting an error message if it was more complicated than replacing the elements?  I don't want to do more damage if I can avoid it.  Honestly it is looking like it would be cheaper to just go buy a "regular" stove than buy both elements to replace.

If both the bake and broil element in fact did quit at the same time I would check the power to the oven first.

The elements need 240Vac to operate, but the clock/display only needs 120Vac.

Do you have a breaker panel for the house or fuses? If you have house fuses check them first, there will be two of them for the oven.

If all of your surface elements are working properly and the oven does not heat at all, most likely you have a bad oven control board and possibly a shorted element that blew out the board. Check the resistance of all 3 elements & make sure they are not shorted to ground. If all 3 elements check ok you can check for 240 volts out of the control with it set to Bake between the heavy orange wire and the heavy yellow wire. If you don't get 240 volts the control is bad.
