i saw it
they tried first with the real direct drive motor/trans, ofcourse it went nowhere
what you see in the video is the tub welded to some kind of 5hp elec motor(or something like that) it was no semblence of a real washer to make the dummy spin like that
at the begining of the episode the salesman told them that direct drive would hold over 25 pounds of clothes
