Maytag Refrigerator HELP..old tech in need of info ref .board/display gone nuts

The instructions to program the board should be on the tech sheet thats with the refrigerator. Check the compressor compartment behind the refrigerator.

Anyone knows what goes bad on these boards .. most I see will not go into a automatic defrost... you can force them into defrost...I am thinking it is a software problem....
