GE Profile Refrigerator condensation and frost
« on: September 21, 2010, 02:40:35 PM »
I have a brand new GE Profile 28 cf french door refrigerator.  I noticed condensation on the doors at times when I open them.  I also have frost build up on my ice cubes and anything that is not vacuum packed in the freezer.  In addition, foods that are open, e.g. butter, juice, take on a refrigerator taste after being the refrigerator for a day.  Any ideas what may be happening or should I ask the store to replace it.  I hate to spend that kind of money and have a defective refrigerator.

Try raising the front legs a hair. This will force the doors to close a little tighter.

What is X2?  I really need a 29 cf or 28 at the minimum and don't believe Whirlpool has one.  Any other suggestions?

You went through 3 diff GE french door models and all of them had the same issue?
