LG tromm Front Load W/D: door does not unlock

The washer WD14312 goes through a full cycle apparently OK, but at the end it refuses to open the door (while keeping the locked-door indicator on).

Unplugging the power cord and waiting a while allows me to open the door, yet I got the feeling this won't last long (and is frustrating too..)

I get no error code. The only message I get is running a "QC Test". On the fist step the display shows/alternates: IF:63 and U06. Could not find a reference to this anywhere in www-space.

Any ideas on why it does not open the door the regular way?

Is WD14312 the full model number? I'm looking for a service manual for the washer.

Our American models have letters at the end after the numbers.

If you got the model number out of the owners manual see if there is a longer model number on the model/serial number tag that is on the washer.
Look inside the door for the model/serial number tag.

When you did the QC test did you press the "SPIN SPEED" button and "SOIL LEVEL" button? The water level frequency should be above 246. If it's below that number find the small tube going to the control and blow it out. Get rid of the sediment in the air bell and reconnect tightly. Pump out water and retry.
