LG Electric Dryer - doesn't turn off - no error code

Our dryer (DLE0332W) has recently decided that it doesn't want to turn off.
When the cycle is done, it stops for a few minutes and then comes back on again for about a minute and keeps repeating that cycle until someone opens the dryer door. At that point, the chimes sound and the word 'End' lights up on the display. Up until that point, the display doesn't say anything. It just has the green lights traveling around the border of the display...not sure how else to describe it.
Since there's no error code, we're not sure what's wrong with it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How long have you let it run on it's own after it shuts off only to find it's still starting up every now and then?

I don't work on many LG dryers, but I thought some of them had a rinkle free feature that did just that, run the dryer evey now and then after it shut off to help keep the cloths from rinkling until you had the chance to remove them.

Sounds like a wrinkle free cycle to me too.
