Frigidaire dryer buzzing sound

Frigidaire FLEB43RGS2 Dryer - Hi, when I turn the start button for the dryer all I get is a loud buzzing sound any thoughts are appreciated.

Hi,

The motor could be bad or something stuck in the blower fan that is keeping the motor from turning.

I agree with AJ on this one. Most likely a bad motor.

I have the same problem and just posted a question. What kraut doesn't say is where the buzzing is coming from; if it was from the motor I guess it would be obvious, but my buzzing is coming from the control panel - I can feel the start switch vibrate with the buzzing. Does this still indicate a possible motor out?

Found my problem The unit was in a rental I have and the people stripped the setting
( timer ) noble. It was in between cycles when I turned the start button making the timer buzz. Maybe this helps
