Most likely 279834 coil kit. If you let it run and watch the glow coil , if it  glows and then click and no flame that's it!

2 Screws hold the coils in place, Phillips type. Of course SHUT OFF POWER . Remove old and replace, easy job.Wires just unplug to the side of the coils.

When the coils fail they get hot to the touch. Plug the harness in securely.

thank you but whats the trick to get to that part? i tried to take the front off . i lifed the top and hinged it back, took the two screws off the front and there is something holding the bottom on and the drum wants to come out.. is there a link that someone can post that shows the cover removal process? i dont want to break those clips..

Take the idler loose and lift out the drum. Give it a good clean.

Please check the model number again. Are you sure it's a Whirlpool?

now she dont light at all? is there something i can jump out? if so where and which one and how? what tests can i run? if so how?

First thang to do is check the FUSE.
If it is open the dryer will run but no power will get to the gas assembly.

If the fuse is fine then you might have a bad ignitor or open flame detector.

When the control thermostat is cool it closes contacts and sends power to the gas assembly. The flame detect, ignitor and coils are all powered up. The coils won't work though until the resistance n the circuit changes. For the resistance to change the flame detect and ignitor have to do their thang, then drop out. The coils are all loosey goosey with the rush of power and open up. The raw gas hits the screaming hot ignitor and Booyah!! Houston we has ignition! In about a minute the temp is warm enough in the blower housing to open the control thermostat and the flame is shut down. The clothes keep on absorbing the heat till temp in the blower housing cools down enough to kick in the afterburners again on this bad boy.
