Need help wiring Thermostat Honeywell RTH7600D

that's in my house. I have a Rudd dual fuel heat pump  with gas backup and I'm updating my thermostat from a RUDD 41-20804-16 to Honeywell RTH7600D. my current thermostat has 6 wires attached to the following terminals.. G,R,B,Y,X and E. Now the way i read the instructions for the new Thermostat is my old wires should connect from G to G, R to RC, Y to Y, B to C, E to E and X to AUX. Can you please tell me if this is right.

You gotta use a factory specified thermostat for that unit. You go putting any old thermostat on there and it ain't gonna work. In fact it will screw the unit up. Get a thermostat that is recommended for that unit. That way you won't have to guess at it and screw up the unit.
