Display stuck in CAL.

I have a Maytag Double Range.  The bottom over does not work. The display reads CAL and will not reset either via control or power cycle.  Everything else seems to be fine.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

Not sure what CAL means... I looked threw the owners manual for your machine, the Tech sheet, And the service manual, and saw no indication of "CAL" as a code, or display option.

I would lean towards a failed ERC control(clock assy).  But before I would order any parts, I would check and see if there are any error codes stored in the clock assy.  Follow the Tech sheet, or Service manual to enter into diagnostic mode.  Furthermore, If you find codes stored, and need help deciphering what you find, please ask us for assistance!  Good luck!

That would probably be calibrate.
The Whirlpool ERC's that I change have to be calibrated to the range based on cavity size.
This oven may have lost its' calibration code.

You would think, if that was the case, that it would explain how to do so in the service manual.   That's what I also assumed it meant, but, after all the Maytag ERC's I have changed, and never had to calibrate one to oven size, I wouldn't think this machine has that option.  I thought it possibly meant oven temp calibration.   I went to service matters and looked at all the bulletins and did not find anything, anywhere.  Kind of odd.
