Thats a good deal.  Most of the ones i see are lower temps at way higher costs.

Ive been thinking of getting one of these. Right now I have a small little 10 dollar one from radio shack, nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Only downfall is you gotta be close to get a reliable reading.

Great find Viking, $25.99 is a steal.  I have been searching for a reasonably priced laser thermometer, luckily I have a harbor freight not to far away from me.  But I bet when I walk out of there I will have more than a thermometer with me.  Happens every time I go shopping, walk in for one thing walk out with 10

Aug, 11th I sent viking351 a PM with my shipping address and offered to pay him for the thermometer as I thought it would make a great giveaway item.

I have yet to hear anything from him.

I think it is about time to do a giveaway just for the technicians that so generously help out here in the forum.

I don't have a harbor freight near me, but I will see what I can come up with this weekend for a tech only giveaway. Watch the technician board for the giveaway.
