Need help with washer not spinning

Hi Everyone,

I have a whirlpool washer that agitates then pauses wants to spin but does not. It will spin if you lift the door to stop the motor. It does spin if you put the timer to spin. When you lift the door you can here the machine shift and it will start spinning when you close the door.

This is a neutral drain transmission so what you're describing is normal for this washer.

Timer should pause the Motor for a few seconds after the Drain Cycle.

if not, then bad Timer
