The other day I finished a load and then went to start the next one and got error f-01 on my Whirlpool Duet Sport.
I have googled and looked at the manual in the washer and all I can find is that the CCU is bad.
Is there anything I can do other than simply replacing the CCU? Also I used the part finder and I think this is it, am I right?

This seems to be a relatively common error, with what seems to me a drastic solution. Is there anything I may have done to cause this so that I don't do it again? Would having stopped a load early and then started a new one have done it?
I run a business that depends on this machine (luckily I have a backup machine) but is there a better option, or rules of thumb on how to keep these things running?
