Seems like a very basic machine.. I would assume that the timer is shot, I don't think anything else controls fill.

That's exactly what I thought.  Replaced the timer yesterday, same result, that is why I need a diagram.  I am wondering if there is something in the pump motor circuit on this beast that impacts the water input since the pump runs through the fill cycle. The later models have a sensor in the motor circuit and the fill is timed but this unit is electromechanical not solid state.

Thanks JW.  that was the 2nd thing I tested, I removed it and tested it function it is opening and closing normally.  I 1st tested the valve with a test cord, works great. I have no power to the float switch, next component up the line is the timer, have no power from the timer to float switch but have power to the timer.  Replaced timer still have no power to water circuit. I'm stuck now with no flow drawings. I have looked inside and out for wiring diagrams on the unit. who ever installed it must have removed them.  Guess we need to lobby the politicians have appliance labels like bedding do not remove under penalty of law.

You might have gotten a bad timer.

You need a switch kit, WD35X10014.  You usually see burnt terminals when they're bad.

Have a peek at the wiring harness where it crosses from the top panel down to the underside. Pay special attention to the area at the base of the inner door, as a wire can break there and be unnoticeable until you test it from the timer or pull each wire.
