Estate washer ATC

I am dealing with an intermittent ATC(automatic temperature control) on an Estate top load washer. Model ETW4300sq0.
I need a service sheet for the ATC function.
The washer will fill fine on COLD/COLD one time. The next time it will start off COLD then switch to full HOT.
I am suspecting a bad thermistor, but do not know the thermistor values.
Wouldn't a cold/cold selection override the thermistor and stay on the cold valve?

The ATC was bad.
I took it apart.
There are 2 terminals attached to the stem with a contact below them.
When you turn the stem to CC/WC/HC the terminals make contact on a small dial. The dial was worn and made intermittent contact with the terminals.

I had a Maytag SAV service call today. Complaint, no warm water. Fix= Thermo-disc attached to the water valve was failing and allowing to much cold water to enter in. water temp was around 78, when it should have been 95
At first I almost just ordered a ATC board for it, but thankfully I didn't, and I had the valve on my truck!

You have to be careful.
I also found out the temp switches and water fill valves are different depending upon the 3 letter/digits after the model number.
