Outside clearance above room AC - is six inches below awning OK?

Son and I installed LG LW1210ER 12000 BTU room AC, and the outside of the unit is only about 6 inches under the canopy of our mobile home.  Is this OK?  Can the unit run 16 hours straight without any problem?

What does the installation instructions say about clearance around the unit?

Owner's Manual pg 12 has this info:  "no obstacles within 20" of back of unit."  There is a diagram showing an awning just above the unit, but no information about clearance.  I installed the unit higher on the wall for inside purposes, so the clearance is only about 6" between the far back of the unit and the awning covering it. 

I've been in motels where the AC was on all the time.  I don't see any warnings about that and would like to know if it stresses the unit, especially in 100 + degree weather.

Hi JW.  I won't have time to get a pic for a while. Do you know if this AC has any problem running for 10 - 12 - 16 hrs without pausing?

You can run it 24-7.
If the clearance is similar to the diagram in the owners manual,you are OK.
