That looks like it is a modular type ice maker. If it is full of ice but won't dump that means you need to bust it open and replace the thermostat. All you do is yank out the feeler arm and take the head off. Then remove the frame from the ice mold and replace the thermostat.
Before you do that you can see if it is gonna harvest by jump starting the harvest cycle.

Well..excuse me, and I apologize from the git-go, but stupid me can't figure what exactly you instruct that I should do next.  I am absolutely humbled by my ignorance in attending this problem, and am ever humbled to ask for help.  But the "instructions" you last gave leave me feeling helpless.  Surely you didn't intend to make me feel this way.  You say I need to, "bust it open...yank out the feeler arm and take the head off.  Then remove the frame from the ice mold and replace the thermostat."
And then you say, "Before you do that you can see if it is gonna harvest by jump starting the harvest cycle."  Well, how do I do that?
So Sorry ~ I am a fool.  I am not uP to your level of understanding.
I'm just trying to see if this older fridge can be fixed to function properly.
