Hi this is my first post and I am having trouble wiring a Frigidaire Model GLWS1349AS1
washing machine motor to run clockwise. I want to use this motor in a homemade wooden band-saw project because I actually have two good motors from this model washing machine. I don't think that this motor is originally reversed during normal use in the washing machine. Anyway the motor is a model no. 13902700 (Frigidaire) and my newer motor is a 134159500
(Electrolux). These motors are identical and interchangeable. I have wired a cord to one of the motors start & run windings using the washers connector to the motor. The motor starts and spins up fine and the centrifugal switch is working correctly. But I can only get it to spin counter-clockwise. Swapping the wires to the start winding and capacitor got me clockwise rotation but started smoking the capacitor. This is the washer's wiring diagram.
Here is a closeup of motor wiring diagram.
I have white wire of my cord to M3 and M1 and the neutral wire to M5 and M6. Any assistance getting this motor to run clockwise will be greatly appreciated.
