Pretty easy to change:
Tools needed:
#2 Phillips screwdriver, Small flat blade screwdriver.
1. Unplug the machine.
2. Take your flat blade screwdriver to the bottom of the door gasket on the outside where it meets the cabinet. Look and feel for the wire band that holds it fast. Then pry that metal band out and away from the machine being careful not to damage the door gasket.
3. Grasp outer edge of the gasket and tuck it inward towards the tub to loosen it from the front of the machine.
4. Remove the screws on the right side that hold the switch.
5. Slide old switch to the opening you just made, and remove the wire harness
6. Install new switch
When re-attaching the gasket back onto the machine, it is nice to have a 3rd or 4th hand.
I use my left knee to hold the gasket and band firmly while using my hands to flip that band around nice and tight.
You do not have to remove the dryer from the top.
