This forum is incredible!!.
I had contacted whirlpool by email, regarding the temp issue....do you think they shared this tech tip with me?? Fat Chance!
Although my model is slightly different than is listed...they list YWET3300SQ1, and I have WET3300SQ1. They show serial number to CW22. Mine is MW22. The W22 indicates year and date of manufacture. I thing the C and M indicate made in different plants. And the specific switches they show do not include my switch part number. NONE THE LESS...the problem is exactly what I was experiencing....confusion / reversal of H:C. I put the new switch in today. It is a rev D where the original is Rev C. I remain quite hopeful that this switch calibration issue was causing problems, and the new switch should fix it!!!!!!!!
I wanted to "figure out" the switch...took the old one apart, but it contains an integrated circuit, so all the voodoo is in there , and there is no figuring that out!
Thank you all very much for the help!!!!
