Hello,

I have what you can call a self made ice block machine as you can see in the attachment.
That what you see is a pool and in that pool we add salt water ,now you also see a bracket right ? on that bracket we put a long can with clean water in it .
Every 24 hours we remove the can and loose the block ice in the can by spraying water on the outside of the can.(we remove the can out of the salt water)
Now we have been using an air compressor to circulate the water in the pool but we came to see that it's not really a good idea because  the air compressor produces hot air after a while and that is not good .
We are looking for some kind of pump that can circulate the water 24/7.
Do you guys have any idea what we can use or what kind of pump we can use to circulate the water.
Any idea's ?

the air compressor produces hot air after a while and that is not good .

There are companies that make coolers for air compressors that would keep that air coming out of the air compressor cool.

I have also seen ice banks that have dedicated air blowers for agitation.

I would look into a higher end Fluval fish aquarium filter system.  The filtering media can be changed to what ever you want to filter out.

I took the description of one from another site:

I will be looking into the swimming pool and aquarium pumps or maybe come up with something else .

pond pumps are much cheaper in price and can be submerged to eliminate hoses that have to hang to the external fluval
the fluval are several hundred
you will get a pond pump that does over 1000gallons/hour for under 100 bucks
wish i would have seen this sooner, i dont check the hvac section often as i'm not expierienced with it
but having a pond and over 13 aquariums, i have alot of knowledge about pumps

Ok what about the salt water that i am using will it eat the inside of the pump ?
Or is the inside made from plastic ?
