LG dishwasher leaks from blower vent inside door on lower left side

LG LDS4821WW dishwasher is almost two years old and out of warranty. It started leaking from the lower left side of the door. Water is coming out of the blower vent but not sure how it is getting in there in the first place. I have removed the door panel and see that the blower vent is attached to a plastic box that goes into the inside of the dw door and is secured by the vapor vent cover.  After unscrewing the vapor vent cover and readjusting everything, it still leaks. Any suggestions?
