stove pilotless ignition not always working

the top 4 burners have pilotless ignition system.

usually the burners light within 10 seconds. lately i have experienced where
i can't get any of the burners to light, but if i wait for 20 minutes then they will light.

in the oven there is a bar that glows and then the flame lights within 10 seconds usually.
lately  i have experienced where the bar will glow but the flame does not light, but if
i wait for 20 minutes then it will light.

is there an explanation for this behavior?
should i replace some parts? if yes, let me know part names.
or is it this an indictator that the stove is dying and needs to be replaced soon?
