Amana washer leaking from underneath

I have an older amana washer that is leaking from underneath.  I've attached a picture for clarification.  Should I try to fix it myself, call a prof, or buy a new one?

How much would it cost for the repair?

It looks like you need a hub and seal kit R9900552  and a main bearing 40004201P. I used to do these all the time under warranty. It requires some special spanner wrenches, and probably isn't worth it on an older machine the repair.

roper is direct drive washer made by whirlpool, very easy to install, put hoses oon , insert drain hose plug in, done
