Kenmore Elite Refrigerator light & water dispenser not working

My refrigerator front panel light and water dispenser has quit working.

The unit is made by Gibson (Frigidaire) according to the listing on this board. It was manufactured in Sept 08 but I have not had any luck finding a service manual. I have the owner manual but it does not have anything that useful.

I have removed the panel but have no idea how to determine which component has failed. The front panel also has buttons for "Filter Reset" and "Lock". There is a PCB (241832802) attached to the panel.

Since everything on the panel quit working I am thinking it is either power to the control board or the board itself. How could I figure this out?

there should be a tech sheet somewhere located on the machine.  This tech sheet is tucked into, or behind a panel or crevice.  I think if you were to pull the front kick plate down, it may be under there somewhere.  That will have a schematic that will tell you what wires to check for incoming voltage to the display.  You can probably check under the hinge cover on the freezer door, that's where power comes into the door.

I found the tech papers behind the kick plate. It matches the diagram on Sears site.

There is no DC voltage in the harness that comes out of the door. The connector/harness only had three wires, the Green/Yellow is missing.

The wiring diagram has a Water Dispenser Power Board, which appears to be a separate board somewhere in the fridge.  I can not seem to find the part on any of the drawings on the Sears site. I even did a part search for 241864701 which is listed on the wiring diagram. I kind of though based on the diagram it would be located in the door, but when I look through the door drawing and parts, its just not shown anywhere.

Any idea where I should look? I am kind of leery of taking the door apart just to look for something that may or may not be bad.

How the heck am I supposed to order a part (if it is bad) if it is not listed?

I can't view the schematic. But from what the parts breakdown looks like, I would think that your display board is bad. I can't find anything else that would "Control" power to the door.  Just be sure there is voltage going to the door.
