washer won't drain

Can't find a manual for my A613 washer. It agitates on the Regular Wash cycle, then spins, but does not drain. The timer stopped when it got to Rinse. I moved it to the final spin, and it still spun but didn't drain. That time the timer stopped moving. I tried to get it to drain by turning it to the Rinse on the Permanent Press cycle. Again, it spins, but doesn't drain. I'm guessing it's the pump or there is something stuck in the pump hose. Do I need to drain the water out somehow before removing the pump hose? The machine is in a really tight spot in the bathroom. No room to tip back and very hard to pull out. No floor drain or anything.

put a shallow pan on the floor and drop the discharge hose into it.
this will drain the water by gravity.

You can use a shop vac, thats what i use everytime i need to remove water from something.  They don't miss a drop!
