Maytag Range Temperature

Set temperature to 350, beeps that ready, but oven thermometer reads 150.  

Set temperature to 550 and oven will get to 350 in a couple of minutes, but continues to rise.  

Set temperature to 475, but oven temperature continues to rise.

Set temperature to 425, and oven temperature starts to drop, and continues to drop.

Have been unable to find a temperature that will enable the oven to remain at 350.

Actuall, this is a common control issue. Your EEPROM chip is counting in 50 Hz instead of 60 Hz, causing the timer to short-cycle in preheat. The repair will include a nrew clock. You can test your sensors by unplugging them or checking them at the clock contacts for a normal reading of 1090-1100 OHMs at 77 degrees room temp to rule out a sensor failure. Unfortunately, they had so much trouble with this model that they discontinued the clock so you are faced with buying a new oven unless you can get yours rebuilt  at www.fixyourboard.com .
