Dryer not staying on

Just got this in and I was told the heating element was bad. I took it apart and it was fine. So I plugged it in and it started to heat and then it will shut off after about 15 seconds. This is for both the auto dry and the timed dry cycles. I am wondering if this has something to do with the control board or a sensor? Any info would be appreciated.

You can by-pass your sensor for a test run. You will still find a bad control board.

From personal experience it would be a waste of time.
Replace the control board.

Finally got around to ordering the control board and it came today. I decided to fix it, not part it out because I found a matching washer for cheap and worth the expense. Install took less than ten minutes. Works great! Also, went ahead and cleaned the lint and debris and lubed all necessary parts. I will be posting this set on Craiglist tonight. Thanks for the advice!
