Front loader doesn't complete cycle

Hi all,
Sometimes my Frigidaire GLTF1670AS0 washer cycle gets "stuck" on the rinse part of the cycle and will continue to run water all day long. Other times the spin doesn't work; You have to push on the bottom of the door and try to change the cycle. Does anyone else have this problem?
I also bought a new drain pump about 8 months ago, and I just had to buy another one!!
I'm trying to figure out if this is a piece of junk, or is it my particular machine.

Are you using the correct amount of the correct detergent religiously?

One of the biggest problems that I see with HE washing machine's is the usage of soap.  Any and all HE washers must be used with only HE SOAP.  Here is an excellent link that will tell you most of everything you will need to know about how to use your washer correctly. You mentioned that you have to push up on the door for the cycle to work. Is the "door locked" light saying that the door is locked? The door lock mechanism is a very common failure on the Frigidaire machine, so much that I stock this part on my truck. Let us know a little more information / symptoms.

you need a speed board

some older boards we not shielded properly and can pick up electrical noise from other electronics in close proximity

the machine then gets stuck in an endless loop of filling and draining at the same time

i believe the bad boards have a date stamp of 2006 on them, but i have seen a few newer boards do it as well

but back in 2006 i was changing an average of 3 a day

if you have to push on the bottom of the door the hinge has twisted, you can carefully twist the hinge so the bottom closes even with the top
CAREFULLY  dont crack your plastic door
