Frigidaire front loading washer door lock switch

Frigidaire ATF6700FE1 Washer. Had door lock switch replaced last year and it's gone out again. Is this a common problem?

Common problem and part. I have replaced a number of these and make sure I keep them on hand in my service truck.

are the defective latches physically damaged?
make sure the shocks are good and the machine is level and on a sturdy floor
if the machine bounces too much the tub can bump into the latch smashing it

other than that i cant think of anything to cause the latches to fail

i do alot of frigidaire warranty, and i dont change all that many latches

also... when clothes are being removed from the machine, if they are tangled and someone yanks to remove them the drum will come forward and smash into the latch
