Here is a example of how you can use your referral code.

Go to your profile page and look for Referrals Link:

In the text box is the url link you need to use.

For example mine is:

You can use this code in a number of different ways.
Using it in your signature line in other forums is one great way to use it.

Here are some way's you can use the code, yet have it show up as ApplianceJunk.com in your signature line.

To use it as a html link so it looks like this.

ApplianceJunk.com

you would code it like this

Many signature area's in forums don't let you use html and you would have to use BBCode.

It would still look like this using BBCode

ApplianceJunk.com

but you would have to code it like this.

[url=http://appliancejunk.com/forums/index.php?referredby=1]ApplianceJunk.com[/url]
These are just some examples.

Feel free to replace ApplianceJunk.com with other things too.
Such as "Come join us at ApplianceJunk.com" or "Free Appliance Repair Forums". What ever works best for you.

I have been posting something like: for more info go to appliancejunk.com at the bottom of my answers on Yahoo. Is that the referral thingy you speak of? I also have a weather blog in which I posted Appliancejunk.com should I have some sort of link that names me in it? I am confused.

I had some time to look over yahoo answers some more.
This seems to be the only way to make your referral link clickable for yahoo answers.

First go to your profile here at ApplianceJunk.com and get your referral link.

This is JWWebster referral link.

Copy and paste that link at yahoo answers in the box that say's.
Know your source? List it here:

When people click on that link our site will keep track of how many clicks and how many people register through your referral links.

Everyone can check there own referral stats in there own profile.
You can even check out everyone elses referrel stats too.
