whirlpool lsb6300pw4 no power!

My wife put cloth in the washer today and turned it on, she went back to check it an hour later and all the washer did was fill up with water and stopped, I turned the dial in the on position to see if it would aggitate or spin or drain but nothing, it seems like the washer is not getting power but it is plugged in and the receptacle has juice. What do I check?

It could be the lid switch. Your lid switch has 3 wires (a green ground wire and 2 live wires) You can unplug the lid switch quick plug and verify continuity. I checked your model. The lid switch is mounted in the hinge on this model. Here is a video which shows how to access it

You guys are really good, hit this one right on the spot. Is it OK to put a jumper in the plug that plugs into the switch to do laundry tonight?

Are there shops where you can buy appliance parts or is online only? I live in Ventura county CA.

Unplug the connection and look at the 3 wires going to the harness. Their is a green ground wire and 2 live wires. Jump them 2 live wires and you can wash clothes.
