sorry, hit wrong key.  The only thing that I get is the broiler element working.
No error code of any kind.  We turned off the circuit breaker and turned it back on.
I set the oven to 200.  When preheat went off the it beeped that it was ready, opened the door and the broiler element was red hot.
Any ideas!
Gail

Unplug the range from power.
Remove the oven racks.
Remove the bake element.
2 screws secure it to the back wall.
Use a volt/ohm meter set for ohms or continuity.
Remove the wires from the bake element.
Touch the meter leads to opposite terminals on the bake element.
No reading is a bad element.
Replace the element.
If you get a reading on the element, replace the EOC clock control.

Tip: pull out bottom drawer, with any luck you will be able to unplug the stove without moving it.

The bake element for this range is ok, now I need to know what the part is to replace the clock.  Is it AP4009004 which is the total clock assembly?  Thanks

After a broken arm, we finally got to working on my magic chef range, the part does not fit.  I ordered 12001628 to replace the clock unit and find there are 2 less plugins on the new box.   E-8 and E-9 blades are missing on the board.  This is a Model CER3740AAH Magic Chef.  HELP

Sears says: 12001624 may differ in appearance, but is a functional equivalent to prior parts including 74003485. Sears Beta es way betta Note: The number may differ with color options
All I did was type in the model number given. CER3740AAH. This is a mystery for sure.

according to appliancepartspros.com the correct part is 12001628 but the E-8 and E-9 plugin are missing on the new board.  I did look at part # 5701m667-60 but the cer3740aah is not listed as using this part for a replacement.  Now what?  The worse thing about this, is it has been too long to return the part.

If I was repairing this range at a customers house, I would be ordering part # 5701m667-60.  From my research, it does fit your range.  And is the part that you need.
