Admiral dryer belt

Hi.  I have a used Admiral dryer I got a month or so ago.  Yesterday the belt came off the motor but did not break.   I tried putting it back on but as soon as I start the dryer it pops off again.  The belt appears to be in good condition and it nice and tight when I put it on.

I would check the belt idler for to much play.

Well apparently it was not the belt.  My daughter just tried to use the dryer and the belt came off again.  Back to the clothes line.

Like Whirlpooltech said you probably need a new idler pulley.
