how to access the lid switch on the washer

i need to find out how to access the lid switch by removing the console, can anyone tell me how this is done?

Slide a putty knife under each end of the console. this will release each clip. once released the console will flip back.. hope it helps

You can do it that way or slide the tub over and reach under the top and pop that clip with your finger:
