My LG dishwasher LDF6810ST leaks a small amount of water from the bottom right corner below the door. It appears to happen during or at the end of the drying cycle. A technician replaced a gasket but it still leaks. Please help me fix the problem.
Disconnect power to the dishwasher.
Remove the front panel (14 phillips screws).
There's likely a leak at the duct where it connects to the blower fan housing.
Disconnect (4) wires at the blower housing.
Open the dw door and twist the blower vent cap counter-clockwise and remove.
Remove the entire blower housing.
Using a flat screw driver--carefully separate the duct tube from the blower fan assy.
Add silicone sealant to the duct tube and re-install the blower assy.
NOTES: When installing the vent cap on the inside of the dw door--make sure that the vent slots are facing UPWARD.
Using electrical tape--wrap the entire wire loom inside the dw front panel---from the bottom of the door up to the detergent dispenser assy. This will prevent wires from pulled apart from the black tar-type insulation used on older LG dishwashers.
