Kenmore 70 Series Gas Dryer stopped producing heat

My husband and I have been trying to fix our dryer for over a week now and it's is starting to weigh on my last nerve.    We have a Kenmore 70 Series gas dryer that when you turn it on, the pilot will light, the gas will heat the dryer, for about a minute or 2.  Then it will shut off and not come back on for the rest of the cycle.  We have replaced the thermostat on it thinking that was the issue but obviously it wasn't.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Those coils get hot and quit with age. They are very easy to replace but hard to diagnose.
If the sensor is working which it is, and the ignitor is working which it is, and you have a good control, which you do, then change these pesky rascals. Click on pic to enlarge. Yep that is a good part number.

Thanks so much.  I have gone ahead and ordered them.  Since this post, we have also replaced the thermal fuse cause... well.... we were hoping that was the problem.   We will just have to wait for the coils.  Thanks so much for the advice.  I'll let you know if the coils were the problem.
