Whirlpool Dryer

I have a whirlpool ultimate care dryer that will not shut off in any cycle

timer or thermostat???

Model LER5848E05

Hi ronaldopaz,

If your dryer timer does not shut off on timed or automatic cycles I would suspect the timer to be at fault.

It would be best to check the timer motor for voltage if you have a volt meter and know how to use it, but chances are it's just a bad timer and will need to be replaced.

You have your model number listed as LER5848E05 but I believe it should be LER5848EQ5.

I looked up the timer part number for model, LER5848EQ5 and found that it uses timer part number: 3976573

Check for voltage going to the timer motor.
