done a bit different than we do em, but congrats on the ingenuity
i'll have to find a customer that will record me doin one for you, i can cut that time to 2 hours
if your not including the time it takes me to press in the new rear bearing, cause we do them on a rebuild basis, i take the old rear shell if not damaged as a core, if it was damaged they pay core too
on average a rear shell/inner basket takes me 1.5 hrs on concreate floor, 2 hours if i have to play with plywood to protect flooring
Repair-man:
After seeing the hassle of taking the boot off, etc. is it not possible to skip that part and just separate the 2 halves leaving the boot and front weights in place? Admittedly, it would be heavier, but less trouble to re-assemble and fewer steps in the repair.
If I am missing something, please let me know. I have not done one of these yet. (I can do the Neptune outer tub and spinner support replacement in under 1 hour)

I should note, these are not my photos or even my pdf file.
I got it online someplace long ago. Don't remember were.
If anyone would know I sure would be happy to give the creator credit.
