whirlpool HE top loader washers, does that include kenmore elite top loader?

service matters says that the f1 code is related to pressure switch  problems,   air leaks, moisture, lint or flashing in air dome,   or control needs to be replaced. does that sound right?   and if control needs to be replaced, i assume it's the one with the pressure hose on it.   need help.  thanks b.m.

Are you referring to F1 or F L?
What exactly is your problem?

You might only need to remove that hose and blow the sediment out of it.

Per the Tech sheet:

F then 1 flashes when there is a primary control failure. Replace
the machine/motor control assembly. It also has the water level tubing attached to it.
