Dryer knob for Whirlpool

I can't seem to locate the dryer knob for this model.  Can someone help.  The knob that turns the dryer on broke about a year ago and I have been using a wrench to turn the knob but the metel piece has now fallen off.

If I super glue the metal piece that it slides onto back in there will it still work?

Because the metal piece fell off this am.

Thanks....for that price and frustration to replace I can get a good quality used dryer from a local dealer.

Plus I have the matching washer that is also broken that I can trade in together to a dealer I buy all my used appliances from.

At least then I will have a good one year warranty on a used item.

I should have replaced the knob a year ago when it broke.

Note the temp sensor knob is the exact size as the timer knob. you can use it in a pinch
