LG Dryer DLE7177 Check Filter Light Stays On

LG DLE7177WM Dryer. Check Filter light will not go off and Power button light is blinking.  Filter is clean, duct is clean.  Vent is clean, have also tried disconnecting it.  Have tries unplugging dryer, waiting, and plugging back in.  Nothing changes problem.

If the dryer other wise is functioning okay--this is normal.

A blinking CHECK FILTER light on the control panel is a reminder to clean the lint filter. There's no sensor involved at all.

The dryer isn't working.  The power light flashes and all buttons are frozen.

I figured it out.  When I said all the buttons were frozen, I thought to go back and LOOK at all the buttons.  One of them was sticking against the control panel faceplate, which froze everything.  Once the little button was pried free from the faceplate, everything came back to life
