Maytag Commercial Neptune washer does not spin

Hi,

I have a problem in a Maytag Commercial Neptune washer.
It works fine until spin. It doesn´t spin, the motor continues turning at slow speed.
It drains well, so I think the problem is not the drain pump.
The machine does not show any Diagnostic Code.

Any idea about this problem?

Check the Unbalance circuit.  It has 3 switch's in series that could be your symptom.  1 inertia switch, that if shakes to much, will not allow the machine to spin.; And 2 more single switches that if bounced off the cabinet or base will also cause it to STOP, AGITATE, and try to re-spin. If the circuit is open, it will not spin. I'm not sure on a commercial machine, but on a home machine, the wire harness consist of blue wires and is easily tested from the console area.  Also make sure the door is locking. If the door does not lock, It will not spin.. You say it doesn't throw any codes but have you gotten into the machine diagnostics?

Yes, I put the machine in "machine program" using the key.
The digital display shows " 6  00 " wich is a set-up code (no a diagnostic code). So, the machine does not show errors.

I have test the machine with two diagnostic cycles, "Operational diagnostic cycle" and "quick spin cycle". Valves, pump and motor go fine. The machine doesn´t spin, the motor continues turning at both senses, at normal speed.

Hi,

A new door lock mechanism solved the problem.
Now it works fine.

Perhaps the problem was the door lock switch or the wax motor.
