Hi I have a washer that sez it had 59 minutes left and it takes 2 hours to wash??? the drain pump is clear and working ,  Have any of u seen this on ge front loaders??  tks  JPG

AJ has a manual you might want to look over. The filter might need to be cleaned. Too much detergent causes these newer machines to have fits. This might be causing the washer to take extra long to finish a load. The washer has sensors in it to check the water quality. If it detects suds it will take longer to wash the clothes. Rule of thumb...

Don't pay attention to the soap manufacture's suggested amount of use.

You must use use HE soap only.
 
If you can find Regular HE soap, use 2 tablespoons
2X HE Soap = 1 Tablespoon
3X HE Soap = 1 Teaspoons

Most digital-controlled front load washers have a software feature that consumers are unaware of.
If excess suds is detected by the MAIN BOARD (which monitors motor electrical load during rinse & final spin) the "suds kill mode" will be enabled.
This causes the washer DISPLAY CLOCK to stall.
The washer makes an attempt to reduce/remove suds--usually a futile attempt--and ends the cycle much longer than was originally shown on the DISPLAY.
